Volunteer With Us
"It's in the giving, that you receive."
-St Francis of Assisi
Our cause in working with the ex-offenders might not be the fanciest, but it helps a real need; showing those who are incarcerated what true love is - reaching across the aisle, and spending time with them.
Making Singapore safe, and resilient; helping people up when they fall is a mission. We need your help.
The challenges are real, and we will not be able to do this without you.
What you can volunteer with
There are different ways you can serve our residents.
Be a mentor to one of our residents by having monthly befriending sessions
Many of our residents need new friends, so that they can be part of new communities. You can be that part. Simply organise movies, dinners, walks.
Serve in our weekly devotions
Weekly, we have morning devotions that need a prepared sharing. If you can prepare one, or feel that you want to support our residents pastorally, you can be a part of it.
Counselling our residents
If you're in training as a counsellor, you can also counsel our residents.
We know you may have different time commitments. Here's what you can help with.
Ad-hoc event helpers
- Every quarter, we've a Family Day that requires event helpers.
- We also have events such as Ride to Restore, that you could help with.
Skills-based volunteering
- You can help with our media needs, such as in social media or video making.
- You can also help with our web development needs if you have that experise.
Organising events for residents and staff
- You might enjoy organising events. Why not put together an event for our resident or staff, whether it be a simple outing, or even a larger scale team bonding?
Befriend our residents
- If you enjoy making friends, why not befriend our residents, and help them to renew their community of friends?
Here's how you, our volunteer, have helped.
Hear from Nathaniel, who went out cycling with volunteers to practice for our 50km cycle during Ride to Restore 2026.
Not only had I experienced a sense of accomplishment after completing the 50km, it actually made me a much more confident person about myself when I discovered the mental endurance I possessed after reaching the summit of each climb even when the slope seemed unsurmountable from a distance.
To add on, this cycling experience has also allowed me to make new friends along the way when we were brought out for training prior to the 50km.
Most important of all would be that when I had the opportunity to observe and immerse myself in the sunrise moments and beautiful sceneries.
It reminded me of the little joys and highs one can get with peace in life. I felt true freedom, peace and joy. It is something that the illegal substances I used to depend on couldn't grant me.
One could say that I experienced the true essence of life.
Once again, thank you for your kindness. I just wanted you to know that what seemed like a small act of kindness actually went a long way. Please keep the love in your heart!

spiritually Mentor and help our residents to break the cycle
Connecting our residents with God is a crucial way. We have weekly aftercare on Thursday night, and devotion groups on Wednesday and Thursday mornings. Why not join us to teach the Bible, or befriend our residents in their faith journey?

Come cycle and run with us
Exercise allows us to get natural highs, without substances. It also builds up our community. We organise weekly runs, which we'd love for you to join us on!

mentor our residents to get into better jobs
You can teach our residents how they can get into better jobs by teaching them simple interview skills.
Befriend them, bringing them out for outings
Some of our residents, having spent a long time with substance abuse, have never known what can be different. They have rarely enjoyed wholesome activities like movies, walks, and cycles. Why not join them?
