If you’re moving into your new landed property, congratulations. You’ve made it! We’re so excited for you. But we also know. You’ve gone to all that expense of ensuring that the vinyl tiles are placed properly and the wardrobes close silently, without the loud “piang!”.

Now that the renovation is done, you want everything from your previous house to be nicely placed, and not just chucked around by a bunch of inexperienced transporters.

Don’t find transporters, find professional movers

Yes, note the word we used. Transporters, not movers. There are those on Lalamove, GrabExpress, who will tell you that they can move your things for a cheaper price. After all, when you look at the expensive $380 you’re spending on the move, it might not seem worth it.

We’ve the professional trucks for you.

But what about those bigger movers?

Yes, we know that if you do a quick Google search, you’d find huge companies. Crown, Shalom, KNT, which could you possibly choose?

Now, we’ll tell you, based on our experience of the painpoints we’ve seen customers face.

You’d struggle to pack them in reliable boxes, so we provide boxes we’ve tested in big moves. And the wrapping too.

If you’ve ever sat in your old home, looked around, and wondered,

okay, how am I going to fit everything in boxes?

Don’t worry. We’re here. We’ll provide you boxes, so you can pack them easily. After all, yes, you could find some big boxes from Shopee, but you wouldn’t know how reliable they are. You’d spend another few hours searching through. Worse still, you’d hate for them to fall through, with all your plates smashing through to the ground.

We will carefully wrap your items.

We use boxes we’ve reliably tested in big moves. We know they will last the distance.

You wouldn’t know how much it costs, so we do a good site survey.

But you may wonder… how much would all this cost? Most movers just quote you a price over the phone. When they finally get down to it, some may add on prices for dismantling, the long passageway, or some stairs they finally find out about.

Not us.

We go down to assess your home, the items, and count what we need to disassemble, and put together again. We will look at pictures of your new home, and figure out if there are staircases that we have to account for.

We will give you a transparent fee, so you aren’t shocked.

You’re moving, and there’s so much information out there; so we’re here. Call us, and you’ll be put through, with no long call menus.

You’re probably overwhelmed, and you don’t know who to consult.

Our friendly team will answer your call

Consult us. We’ll listen.

You won’t be asked to press 1 for English, 2 for moving, and 3 to leave your feedback.

You’ll come straight to us. No questions asked.

You want people who understand your English, Singlish, Hokkien, and Cantonese

We’ll be honest. Moving is a very difficult job, and not many Singaporeans may want to do it. The nature of the workforce can be international, meaning that the movers may not exactly understand what you’re saying.

For us, because we work with ex-offenders, this means that our workforce is local, and very capable of understanding you.

You also hope to do some good through your move, and pass your things onto other people

We know that in a move, you often have many things to donate.

There’s the Salvation Army, but beyond that, you can also look to us. The Helping Hand also runs Pass It On, which is a platform where you can put up your older items like fridges, so that others can use them.

What’s more, your support of our services also helps our ex-offenders reconcile with their families. Whilst ex-offenders have their role to play in their recovery, we often forget that their families may also suffer the brunt of their incarceration. We want to help them, and make sure that their families do not repeat the same cycle too.

1. The Helping Hand if you want reliable movers, with a free site survey to avoid bill shock and movers who understand you

Of course, we don’t want to toot our horn, but we think we’re quite a good value for money service.

We’ve been faithfully doing this for the last 30 years, and can quickly tell you that whatever the time, we will be there.

What differentiates us is how we know that you, the customer, probably want some advice on how to move. After all, with so many items, you’ve to think of disposal, removal, donations, and installation. You probably want to just entrust your move to someone, and just go.

You don’t want to keep worrying. That’s where we come in.

  1. We will consult with you, hear you out, like your friendly neighbourhood advisor.
  2. We give you boxes.
  3. We come down and make a site survey, giving you more time to consult us!

2. Shalom Movers if you’ve the budget to spare for a premium move

But of course, you may want someone else.

Shalom are one of the premier movers in the market, established for 40 years, and extremely experienced with moves.

They are good friends, having taught us much about the nature of service, over eking out every cent of profit from each move. More importantly, they treat their movers well.

3. Breakthrough Movers if you’d like to also help another charity

Breakthrough is another of our brothers, operating a halfway house, and giving dignity to brothers, and helping them in their recovery. This is one we enjoy. We know that they’ve been very good because

They will even do the removals for you.

4. Rodex Movers

They have over 40 years of experience, and a good fleet of trucks. You wouldn’t want to miss them.

To estimate how much your move would cost, they even have a price estimator that can help.

Though we think our in-person site survey is probably better, we might be biased. You might just like to fill things up online.

They say they will help you even with storage!
